What is a Doula?
A doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to individuals before, during, and shortly after childbirth. My role as a doula is to empower and guide you through your birthing experience, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.
How I Support You During Labor

As your doula, I am dedicated to creating a calm, nurturing environment where your voice is heard, and your choices are honored. During labor, I provide:
-
Emotional Support: Offering reassurance, encouragement, and a steady presence to help you feel grounded and empowered.
-
Physical Comfort: Utilizing techniques such as massage, positioning, and breathing guidance to ease discomfort and promote progress.
-
Advocacy: Helping you to advocate for yourself by making sure you feel in control and respected as you navigate your birth. Making sure there is clear communication, and that you feel your voice is heard.
-
Informational Guidance: Providing evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions throughout the process.

Whether you're planning a hospital birth, home birth, or something in between, I am here to support you and your family with compassionate care tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered as you bring new life into the world.
